What a week!

Hey, welcome back! I mean, myself.

How have my blog been? Just notice my tagboard have been misused by some "Melvin." Is it you, Xi Xiang? It's not healthy to pose as someone k? Or if it's someone else, i'll not forgive you!! LOL!!

What have i been busy with recently? The stupid unnecessary lion dance performances, what else!! No time for my kawans la! So sorry pals... will have some outing again as soon as my second MST ends! (After next week!)

2nd time to get this shock of having such cramped up MST schedule. (The 1st one was last year)

*Reflection* SPLD was at Suntec City for a performance on Wednesday, and I'm sure they won't want us there again unless they want to change their changing room.

That's just so crappy, so much so that my previous chairman had to stick his finger into one of the light bulb holder. The switches were on and he got himself electrify. LOL! Owned!

Secondly, we caught lion urinating!! Headline! Look~



And, we were deciding of having our lion heads replaced with recycled materials... ...

And one more things which I have found out. The culprit who go around wasting papers and ink like nobody's business. Man wanted as evidence of printed paper found...







Haha!! Call me swaku if you want, but this is really LONG!! I think there's about 3-4m in length for that piece of receipt! Ink? Needless to say... ...

FYI: Ho Yin is coming back to join us on Saturday after his A'levels!! CooL! We'll be having a match with his classamates and schoolmates upon request from Kae Siong (xiao xiong) which he recalled the team as "InfernozZz." We'll be having a game with them next Saturday, not the 1st December one, the 8th December. So, for those involved remember to come if can and "build up our number strength," and interested parties, it'll be at Brontosaurus Park on Saturday Morning, around 8-9am like that. So, cYa!!! =)

I never believed what i saw yesterday while working! It's...a her! LOL!! She's kinda the Imelda type~ SPLD should know who's Imelda. In addition, the one i saw was like...damn, Unbelievable!

...and DOU! I dropped 4 blueberry muffins yesterday...what a day! tsk tsk...THANKS HUI LING for helping me claimed one of it, and myself the other one... 2 more to compensate for that... Hui ling's the best!! LOL! =)

And...MST WEEK!! Hope it's over soon enough to enjoy my...er...Deepavali? HEHEZ!! I wanna celebrate DeepavaLI!!

Anyway, if you notice, the lime plant out at my corridor seemed to be facing leave-falling problem. We can't find the "stop leave-fall shampoo" to prevent that. In addition, the leaves are so tasty that Caterpillars are lurking around the plants and having their tasty treats! - The leaves are really sweeT! Come try when you're free!

My mum and ah-po have reported sightings of the Butterfly cracking out of it's cocoon. Poor me, only get to see the cocoon and the remains, never the "cocoon-turned-Butterfly" process. Because the time for them to hatch is usually my school period.

Fortunately, it's e-learning week!! I finally get my chance to caught sight on one!! Look at how beautiful this lady is - i deduce it's a female as i don't see any penis. Let's name it, Limey? Since it's a Lime Butterfly - I've done research!



After much analysis, this Limey will return after 2 weeks! Let's wait for it's return! (Provided it wasn't fed to the birds...oh, terrible... ...)

One last thing. Everybody know that factor of selling a product effectively includes it packaging. I remembered how I was conned when i was young to buy that Beast Wars toy, it's the fact that the package is nice, and the box seemed so attractive like how boys are attracted to men in...you know where~

However, some manufacturer would think box hides the toy itself, thus putting the toys in transparent see-through packaging.

Damn! It's good that it shows the children the toy they are going to have inside, and convince the children that they're not buying some DIY stuffs (I.e: Gundam and Tamiya cars.)
However... at times, it does give adults misleading idea on sexto...toys. LooK!




LOL!! I shan't explain, don't you try as well. I know children won't think like what we think anyway! Ok, one small caption - "Donkeys with Wool and Horses that Moo, Cool."

3rd day @ RedanGz!

Well, the third day is actually the most important of the whole camp, where all the activities are held. That is why we don't have many photos on that day! =P Still, we manage to get some photos, not specifically on the activities we went through though~ =) here are some!

A new way to dry your towel...my towel. =P

This is one movie by Sammi Cheng that's film on this island, and in that hotel... the TV has one channel that is dedicated to this movie and ONLY this movie. Once the credit finish, the sponsors appear, and the movie starts again. Everybody was saying "hey!! let's go back and watch Channel 6, again!"

2nd day! 1/2 virgo, 1/2 redang!

We reached the coast of Redang at 2pm on Thursday! Everyone was kind of unwilling to exit the cruise, we were hoping we could tour the cruise longer, but we have to alight at 1pm sharp. So, took a ferry from Star Virgo to Redang's jetty, wow...look at that!

hehez!That's handsome saying hi to everyone! =P

Ok, this pix is kinda typical but at least it shows the beach. Ignore my "twist" sign... i didn't know what to do with it then.

Quite surprised to find that the place we reached were rather happening. People dancing, singing, shouting...ma'champ Hawaii like that.

Coming up next was snorkeling!! SO COOL LAR!

We're pushed down the waters so as to snap that shot above. However, after that we floated up again..i kinda feel something's weird. Didn't realised it until i went diving again. I found out that i can't breathe... LOL. My snorkel went missing. This picture was taken before realisation.

Never mind that, but i just like the waters and the fishes man. Such nice "scenery"! =P I want go there again!!

Did i tell you guys about the meals we have during the camp? It's all buffet la!! The 1st day's dinner buffet included this! LooK!

Yum yuM! Shepard's Pie! Lasagna! That's why i grew fatter~ LOL. By the way, that's only the 2nd day dinner, i can't guarantee other day's meal to be just as good! =P

That's how our 2nd day went by... =)

Day 1 - @ Star Cruise Virgo~

WAHAHAZ!! Yes! I was missing from last Wednesday till Sunday morning! Guess where was I? LOL!! CAMP formed by SP's SAA! =) Director of SAA was the honoured guest to grace this event. On the whole, the whole camp was SUPERB!

Just a summary on this camp. It's a 4D 3N camp named "Leaders of Tomorrow Camp." In short, it stands for "LTC," looked like the initials of Leadership Training Camp. It is indeed not "Training Camp" as it looked much relaxing than a training camp!! Wahahaz!!

It started off with the 1st module held in school which took up to half a day. The module included a dining etiquette lesson and the 5 core values of "leadership." So sian, like any other leadership camp like that, but with a twist of "how to dine formally and properly." They specially invited a professional to teach us how to use the cutleries; even how to eat bread properly! -_-'''

Now, time travel...to 5th Sep - our departure date! My tribe, Jamupagwa gathered at a Kopitiam in vivocity, carrying our flag, wild card and barang barangs! We've all prepared our cheers and whatnots. So cool la! I love my tribe's cheer and our trademark..."Humptam Feya" It was thought by me, and fortunately my tribe liked that idea! =D

We were told to meet in Harbourfront at 2.30pm. Such lousy timing, the cruise is supposedly to leave at 5.30pm! We were so boring la! So we went to the open top of vivocity to practise our cheers! hehez... everybody was looking at us can! =)

Finally, time's up! We report to where we're supposed to assemble. WOW!! Sea of people! Aunties, uncle, children, teenagers, Japanese, ang mohs etc etc. Now we know why they wanted us to meet there at 2.30 le. Being typical s'poreans, our facilitators told us to leave our bags there to "reserve." =P

YeA!! We're on board after hours..report to our cabin of 4 each. Lucky my cabin mates are all my teammates. Among them, one of which is one of my best companion and brother in my team, Devester!! He's so coOL! We stick to each other wherever we go. Bo bian ma, we new to the places. Took care of each other as well, buddy buddy!

Then 1st activity came, fine dining with our director on the cruise. Wow, i had the nicest salmon and beef! Shiok sia! Follow on, it's slack slack slack until our supper. A buffet on board. Hahaz...we "stole" all the buns, cheese and good stuffs...Lucky no one wearing SP's shirt that day. We claim we're from NP. LOL!!!! *Sp in disguise*

Marking the end of the day was when Aaron, Nicodemus and Devester...the 4 of us went to an open lounge on the cruise to request song. They had a mocktail and relax to the songs they sang. *wow, how come they like know every songs like that.*

Handsome was supposed to attend a class at 8.30am. He reached the place he was instructed to at 8.20 but that lady die die only served him at 8.30am.

8.30am"Oh...it's not here, you'll need to go to Terminal 1 and report to the CAAS management office at level 3. You know how right? Take Sky train (then the direction to SKYTRAIN)" -Lady 1

So handsome rushed for the skytrain and appeared at that destination he was told. It turned out to be an empty room with lights half-lit. He waited inside, no one approached him. He asked the cleaning lady, she told him to wait. Yes, 34 minutes. My class starts at 8.30am sharP!

9.24am"Oh...have you 2 attended the lesson?" -Guy 1
9.24am"Erm, no. I was told to report here at 8.30am for the lesson and submit the form." -Handsome
9.25am"Ya, you'll submit here and we'll endorse the form. But you need to attend the class." -Guy 1
9.25am"Ok, we're here to find the class anyway. Where will it be?" -Handsome and his new colleague
9.25-9.27am"Just a minute, I'll see what i can do... (walks away and come back with a paper) It's at this place (points)" -Guy 1
9.27am"I think we really need help here, what South Pier? What seletar room?"
9.27am"Ok, Let me tell you. Walk this way (hand direct) to SKYTRAIN... you know how? (we nodded). Go to terminal 2 (my eyes rolled) and you'll see a carpark beside burger king. Turn right and left then you'll see a lift." -Guy 1 (We don't really understand but both Handsome and his colleague was looking at "Multi-purpose hall.")

9.27am"It's alright, we'll find the place thanks." Handsome and colleague

Handsome and colleague dragged their legs to Skytrain and then to terminal 2. Walked the whole stretch of Departure hall to find Multi-purpose hall. LOST.

Back to find the 1st Lady handsome met. Took the lift from depart hall to level 4 in caas office.

9.45am"I'm sorry, but can we know where's Multi-purpose hall? We are told to attend a class. The place you told us just now is only for submission of form."
9.45am"Oh(acting blur)...it's this way(hand direction again), take the lift to level 2, walk to the center lift and take the lift to level 4 with lift 1-6."
9.45am"Thanks."

Poor handsome and colleague on the hunt again to find the multi purpose hall.

9.56am FOUND THE HALL...it's locked. I'm already cursing and swearing. A note on the reception table, it says it's no longer in operation. The new reception is at CAAS, take the lift to level 2 to departure hall, then in the CAAS office, take the lift up to level 4. - the place where Handsome first met Lady 1.

Feeling despair, handsome asked anyone, even pregnant lady. She pointed that way, away from Burger King to the other end of Departure hall. Walked the whole stretch of terminal 2, saw another CAAS management..hope they could help.

10.10am "Hi, we really need help, can you tell us where's south pier? We need to attend an orientation class and we're running late. It's supposed to start at 8.30 am, look at the time." -Handsome

10.10am "ok...so, who are you looking for?" -Guy 2
10.10am "no, a place (are you listening?) We need to attend a service orientation class" -Handsome
10.10am "oh..i see. Give me a minute, i'll see what i can do." -Guy 2 Walks back into his office, and yes...he lied about the minute.
10.16am "I've called the person, but it didn't get through" -Guy 2 *you were calling the entire 6 minutes?*
10.16am "This is the number, you can try to call. But i've called. She didn't pick up." -Guy 2
oh, so my number can call through her phone, but yours can't?
10.16am "How about you show me the venue or where you get this number? I remembered the guy from terminal 1 CAAS management had a schedule on that. -Handsome and colleage *Doesn't that makes thing easier?!?*
10.16am "Oh yah, okok" Guy 2 (went in to print that paper)
10.17am "THANKS! By the way, where is this?" -Handsome's colleague
10.17am "Oh, you have to walk to Burger king, there's a carpark. You turn right and left, then you'll see a lift. Take it to level 3M." -Guy 2
10.18am "Thanks, we really appreciate that." -Handsome, not sure if he was sincere about the sentence he made.

So handsome and Colleague walked back that stretch again and..YES! they found it. It's "hidden".

10.25am "We're so glad we found this place. The orientation course is going on in this room right? We'll go in now." -Handsome and colleague
10.25am " I'm very sorry you can't. It've started 1 hour plus ago, the trainer wouldn't allow you to enter like this. -Guy 3

OK!! I'm too fed up now...how? You tell me... and i thought Airport will be a much friendly and convenient place.

Just putting it down, reminding our class how we resembles the spartans when we were in the exam hall taking down every exam papers and other students with sweat and pen ink. We drained our energy to remember figures that turned out only to be fake and unfortunately not going to be yours.

Watched Bourne Ultimatum. Ok, i still don't get the inspiration...none. Just another James Bond /Jet li's movie etc... But will give it 4 out of 5 if you're those action-packed kind of guy. I still prefer Rush Hour 3 to other, Funny with cool stunts. Did i say it was funny? Just like the way Chris Tucker speaks!

exams!!

Now that national day parade it's over...it kind of mean exams are here!! haha!! Good luck everybody, for all your papers!! buck uP!!

August starts today!

wow wow wow... look! It's the National day month again! CooL!

However, despite the nation-wide celebration i sort of dread August. It's always a sign of examination and CA 2's doom period. In secondary, it's like CA 2 just before the sept holidays. For now, it's friggin' SEMESTRAL exams. I don't know why, but i feel negative this semester~ why?

Reports have replaced written papers for some modules (BlessingInDisguise) whereas the rest leaves you to brain-wrecking, time-consuming, fear-increasing writing torment! Imagine penning all that you've learnt from the start of the semester till now. To add 3 more bittergourds into your chinese herbal medicine, they dig questions that you'll least expect randomly from what seem never ending topics.

Hahaz...sorry, it's like the pre-exams symptoms acting on me now, so i'm kinda depressed again. No time to watch tv, no time for family, no time for friend and no time for myself.

Let's just persist till the end of august. Then i'll see light, light that directs you to long-awaited, fairytale-like, unimaginable, anticipatedly anticipated S.L.E.E.P!!!! Oh my god!! I'm going bonkers whenever i see and feel my bed. I'm so in love with it now. I can't bear to part it every morning when i have to leave for the 3rd party, school. Oh bed, i think i'm naming it Melovin! =)

Enough chatting. Have to go revise now... what a week to go~

but anyway, do watch if you don't believe in supernatural or ghostly stuff. I'm still having a conflict for that - whether if there's really such thing as ghost and supernatural powers. I do believe that it's a fake video (go watch it and find out the things yourself). I used to catch "TRICK", a japanese serial comedy drama that shows all supernatural stuffs that's being resolved and explained later on by the cute lead actress and the dumb professor-to-be. Therefore, i roughly know how to deduce this movie myself. However, it's worth to challenge yourself to this 2 hrs clip and give yourself some scare.

The BOSB - div 2 1/2 had gone to watch Transformers last sat. It's a brilliant show! hehez.. i love the part when Optimus Prime and gang were hiding...LOL!!

Anyway, you can't expect me to write the the whole synopsis here. It's just nice...go watch!

I think school is finally forking some cash out to upgrade the lift and stuff. I think they're improving on the tiles as well. I never knew they are so artistic in mind that they need to sustain their creativity design on floor before removing them all. Cool eh? Look at this. I remember Mr Khek telling me about tessellation...well, maybe hop-scotch? =P

The second part of my Blog. Let's get to serious matter.

Nowadays, copyrights issue are getting overboard, that some big company (no names!!) are being troubled and sued because of this. I know it's wrong to copy other's brand and stuffs, but sometimes...things are just to hilarious because of this!!ROFL!

You know those market kinda shop houses? Those of Bedok and rural areas? Their main aim are to seek for cheap toys at cost and sell them to kids who are never brand conscious (as long as they get the toys they want!) These vendors are smart in a way, but come to think about it, i think most of them are not english educated. They are either old man or old woman. Why would I be that bad to criticise them non-english educated. Well, i would say that...if they are~ they would have died laughing at these before they could even sell them!! At least i did~ =P

Die hard 4.0 (难死? 死难? 难得死.)

What an enjoyable way to spend our Saturday with movie (and basketball) again! Hehez...i know it's ripping a hole in all of our wallets but heck since i can watch the show together with my KAWANS!! *laughs*

Finally, this time it's really at The Cathay located near Dhoby Ghaut. We've been planning it since last month and this is the only time we watched a movie there - the other time was at GV. Just to let you know, we've been travelling to Dhoby Ghaut for 4 consecutive weeks (= to a month!). The first time we went was a Friday, i think. We targetted Pirates OTC' then, but it was full full full!! So, we replaced it with arcade and lan then. Following week's saturday, we watched Oceans 13! Last saturday, we caught fantastic four - the silver surfer and just yesterday, it's Die Hard 4.0. Wow... a movie month!! LOL. I never do that in the past due to cash constraint.

Hehez... accompanied with the movie was food and lan (DOTA)!! LOL. We had so much fun Dota'ing and splurging at lan shop, of which I nearly forgotten about my EZ-link card....TWICE. So note please... ...do remember to ask for your ez-link card after lan'ing or you might have to pay 10-20 cents more (with coins) for public transport which it's not worth it at all!!


ABOVE. One of the DOTA moment, we had joined forces with our enemy to kill roshan. However, this photo has proof that "B3aR" (xiao siong) have breached this ally and killed "59" unintentionally. That "59" was actually unlucky that time, i'm sure!!! LOL!!!

LEFT. Next, a mysterious Rasengan was spotted on Harry's left hand. It led to many doubts. Did
Naruto passed the manual of Rasengan to J.K. Rowling? Did Harry took as long as naruto to master it? Naruto needs a clone to do it, Harry don't - so is Harry more gifted? Is the wizard a lefty?

See! I got you thinking awhile right? *Darren and Pawan, don't think i can't hear you saying "no." Just oblige!
