The Fun of English

You guys do know that English could be a hard language to master due to some of it's contradiction. For example the past tense usually ends with -ed and past participle words usually ends with -en, like eat - ate - eaten or step - stepped - stepped. However, when it comes to cut, it's just cut - cut - cut. There are always some exception.

It's a difficult language to master, still we'll need to learn them by heart, else you will be criticised or laughed at.

If you think past tense and present tense is easy, good for you. For people who neglect the importance and tend not to be particular with it... I'll show you how big the impact can be... ...

HAHA! A good laugh? I had! =P Next is alphabetising. You know, sometimes you just need to be flexible and not just obliging blindly as it may spell out even worse trouble for you...

Yea, not sure if the person who printed this sign to be blamed, the person who hanged it up or the person who invented alphabets/those words.

Haha!! Congrats for the end of O'levels! =)

Change We Need

(photo taken from reuters.com)

After months of campaigns and talks... finally, the answer is out today! Obama, with 349 electoral votes against senator McCain's 173, succeeding the 44th President of America. It's not a close fight, at least to me, so I am convinced that Obama's victory is significantly well-supported and he have gained trust from the Americans.

"If there is anyone out there who still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible, who still wonders if the dream on our founders is alive in our time, who still questions the power of our democracy, tonight is your answer." -Barack Obama.

Congratulations to him! John McCain was a worthy opponent as well.

Now, for our side...we'll just wait and pray for a hopeful and positive transition...
