JoyJuice'sDay

Yea, the Blur-Queen.

LoL! What a pleasant not-so-surprising surprise for our little Ms Tan.

At the cedele, while dining...

Me: hey joyce, where's your contact lens?
Joyce: Oh no ar, I'm wearing glasses today.
Annie (or dawn): she's wearing Emporio Armani leh...
Me: Oh... ... no wonder...
Joyce (as blur as usual) : huh huh?? What did she say?
Me: erm..nothing. Just that you look... ....
Joyce: look less dumb right?
Me: Kinda. You look much intelligent with specs.
Joyce (grins): thank you..

... ...then something dumb happened later.
Lol~ Joyce joyce, as blur as usual~ What a comic relief~

Didn't snapped a lot of pix. Only have some sources from Pei Yi. There's more on Facebook, but all posted by Pei Yi. What we have here are just some appetizers. loL! Mainly the guys~

Why they even bother putting the 'pull' sign.

Want to know how it did it? Beats me.

I'm still figuring out.

Maybe that goat was in a SERIOUS shock that it leapt all the way up and got its' horn hooked on to that cable.

LOL!

NATIONAL DAY!

Well, had my celebration (for nat'l day) with like my good time buddies~ LoL! Weird it may be, but too bad...i got to work on Nat'l day...so the eve was my celebration.

Not by holding on the nat'l flag walking around sg.

Not by singing those patriotic nat'l song.

Not by wearing red.

and DEFINITELY not taking the pledge as we stroll...

we went to taste food at 3 different places in one go!

All made possible by Zach! loL! Thanks Zacky!

Erm, cool huh, we were all squeezed into a 5 seater, conquering places such as Changi Village, Geylang, mt. faber, kallang leisure quest, sempang bedok and finally back to elias mall. Ai seh...

Anyway, bad idea to work on nat'l day, but it's not my choice. I don't mind staying at home with family to watch the fireworks, even in TV. =( *who knows this might be my last fireworks viewing*

So readers, let's comment. How's those annual nat'l song coming along? Hearsay it's by ELECTRICO this year. Unfamiliar with the title, but yes it's sure getting rocky yea? Wonder how it will be in years to come. *techno, metal etc...*

Still, i love SG! =) Happy 44th Birthday SG! Remember to treat us well in the future k! (especially the guys) loL!!

disappointment/rejections.

A door slammed in our faces…A hope that had been raised so high, dashed to pieces…An expectation that had us excited, overnight disappeared into a cloud…

We are familiar with disappointments. At one time or another, we have been there – the familiar feeling of having our hopes crash. What is it about disappointment that pushes us to close our hearts and place it somewhere safe and untouchable?

Perhaps, we’ve experienced the flurry of love, fallen head over heels in love. Perhaps, we’ve had dreams of someone who would love us and cherish us. But it was not to be…and we were disappointed.

Maybe, there were many promises made to us – promises that the love would stay. But it was not to be…One after another, disappointments came in different forms, tearing our hearts and dashing our hopes into pieces.

So, after awhile, we have learnt to "immunize" our hearts from disappointments. For some of us, we avoid opening our hearts. When we experience the first flurry of the emotions of love, we push it away.

Others deal with it by expecting disappointments to come their way. They expect the worst in relationships. That way, they would never need to feel hurt or pain and their hearts would never be broken.

We can never avoid disappointments in life. They will come our way. Of course, it would be foolhardy to plunge into relationships without much thought. On the other hand, to block our hearts will hurt us eventually. We will be trapped in this cold and lonely place, where no one can touch us. That, in itself is hell.

Perhaps, we need to open our hearts gradually and just take a step at a time. As the relationship progresses further, we open our hearts a little at a time and allow that hope and light to flood in.
Yes, we may experience disappointments in the future. We may experience hurts; we will cry. I guess that’s the very essence of being human, isn’t it?

back to normal

FINALLY! My blog posting box is back to normal.

I really don't know what's up with my com recently, everything is going haywire. Irritating. Even reformatted my whole laptop. And great, now my lappy can't read mandarin characters. DAMN IT!

Better post something up before the posting page is screwed again.

K'ed with the rest again. So good to see Big bear, leafy and the king again. loL! 2 commandos and 1 china man! =P Good friends la. But sian, really sucks at vocal. Someone teach me to sing like Jay Chou leh. LOL!!

Attended Jeremy's concert. Wah, superb man! He's still good a baritone! Not sure how his standard is, but from what I heard with my own ears, it's really pleasant! FTW, J.K! =P

And after that, sianz. I really hate the idea not being able to flag for a cab in town. Freaking irritating. I have to walk down so many frigging streets in a shirt to flag for nothing but rejections from Taxi uncles. Darn it, finished walking the edge of bugis until raffles hospital and still no sign of willing cabs. Got so frustrated that i turn to MRT. Perspiring. To make it worse, that friend had to just rub it in. Thanks ah!

talking about it... must bring this point out. Sometimes, people take things for granted. I know, i can understand that. I'm guilty of that too. However, it's really not nice when it's your best/close friend or even your brother who's giving you such irritating attention. Sometimes, when people have done something for you or whatsoever, at least appreciate people's effort. If it's not well-done, then just shut up and don't complain or put the blame without getting facts right! Do i complain about you guys? Think carefully and let me know.

I've known from the start that you, yes YOU, have been cheating me, lying, humiliating and taking advantage of me. Yes, i didn't mention anything or telling it to anyone else. Why? Because I see all of you as a friend genuinely. But have you? I don't know. I'm not fit to answer that for you. But honestly, if you think i'm those blur-cock, always smiling, giving you way, letting you scold, humiliate and despised upon, go ahead. I've account for all those nasty things you've scarred in me. Just one reminder, the world is round. Be that arrogant kid all you want, you're the almighty wad!

Damn pissed.

August here.

September approaching.

Doom's day nearing...
