Tak Dong Cheng

"Tak Dong Cheng"

From the title, you will know that these are words that symbolises 'Lion Dance'.

For eg: when a child sees a lion dance during Chinese New Year: "Mummy, you see!! Got tak dong cheng!!

Suffian, the director of this short film, has this same thoughts which inspired his film title!

This film was taken 4 months ago and is now completed. Last Saturday, Suffian had just invited us for the screening of this short film. He can have my praises man! He managed to mixed the different culture into this film perfectly with a pinch humour. Although it's a malay-based film, it doesn't leave out other languages. He included other languages like Tamil, Mandarin, Dialects and English. Moreover, he had the Subtitle.

During the screening, he presented the cast each a poster and a DVD of his completed film. So proud of his master-piece as we see ourselves on TV! =P

If you're still curious on what I'm talking about, how about I show you a preview he made before he complete his film. I hope the preview will give you a clearer picture!

Is it a reptile, a bird...or a mammal?

One interesting fact which I read from a magazine, an animal with genes from birds, reptiles as well as mammals!

It is the ornithorhynchus anatinus, found in Australia. It has a beak, swims underwater and lays egg...yet it has fur and suckles its young! In addition, they have 10! sex genes instead of just 2 like us - Male and Female. Something much fascinating about this amazing animal is that all of these species are born without an immune system, but it uses specific genes to produce molecules that act as antibodies.

Does this animal sounds familiar to you?

Are you shocked by how wonderful, amazing and 历害 this creature is?

Then, read more about it...

The "Platypus."

Trial balance, balanced! IAP term 2 completed!! Phew!! Jia yoU!
