Wow.

It's neither millions - Rolls Royce's Price...

nor billions - How much Warren Buffett or Bill Gate is worth...

It's above 10 trillion dollars - 14 digits we're talking here, not counting the decimal and cents.

As on Wednesday 7/10/08', US national debt hit record high of $10.1 trillion. If you wanna know the exact amount which was shown on the paper, it's indeed a generous amount.

US$10,149,644,933,872.

"YOUR Family share : $86,017.

According to the news, the 10 trillion mark was unprepared for that when the debt reached the 10 trillion mark, the 'clock' had to convert the dollar sign ($) for the 14th digit.

In the year of my birth, when the clock started measuring the debt, it was already at 2.7 trillion. Obviously the amount have not been shrinking, but inflated. Over the last 2 decades, the "rich" citizen have borrowed over US$7 trillion to reach the honourable US$10 trillion mark. Congrats!

Now the economy is shit. Thanks Red, White and Blue.

Returning to Asia, and further on to the red dot.

Recession is near, guys. I'm dumbfounded, having unpleasant (very) premonition for the coming lunar new year. Would i still be happy lion dancing, wearing new clothings and collecting red packets, or damned at home, half-naked and condemning our own red packets. Zzzz...

Not good, not good at all.

Anyway, class chalet was not great as usual due to the poor attendance (now even poorer), but
I'm still glad and appreciative for those attended. Many thanks for Annie, Dawn and Pei Yi for all the efforts poured in. Enjoyed the company from the eleven 02'ians. Thanks Mr Caleb for his presence and "fuzzy-ducking" night. Also to Ms Ooi and Mrs Ruth (Kumar) for the BBQ company. Despite the disappointing attendance yet again, i'm still able to consider this chalet a rather pleasant one. =)

On the other hand, my fellow lion dance mate chalet was much better! I'm shocked by those attended and Ivan really did a wonderful job making the stay at Downtown East such an unforgettable one. (Yea, I won $17.50 on black jack and threw $11.60 and $7.80 on Mahjong and Dai Dee respectively, of course i'll never forget it) Haha. Great idea for the head making session. Will want to see more of this coming. Appreciate the Alumni's attendance too! Now i know who's Ah Ken. loL!

Have a great "school re-opening" week, Sp'ians. And Tp'ians! Enjoy your last week.. hehe!
*and...I miss frankie...=(*
